I'm going to an event at Sheffield Arena next May and there is no availability to book a space in either of the car parks according to Ticketmaster. I can't see any other way of booking other than using Ticketmaster.
I've looked at JustPark but some of the reviews for the closest (20 min walk) either aren't great (spaces not available when you get there or have to walk through a secluded industrial estate which I don't really want to do as I will be on my own with my pre-teen and young teenager).
I saw there is a Premier Inn nearby but you can't pre-book parking and I'm not sure I want to risk just turning up. They're also fully booked that night so parking will be limited, I'd imagine.
I know Meadowhall does parking on event days but the website only lists events up until January, so I don't know whether it will in May. Also I've read that the trams can be a bit hit and miss on the way back. I'd happily walk it as I think it's only about 25 mins as long as it isn't through secluded areas.
Can anyone offer any other suggestions please? I'm kicking myself for not booking the parking when I ordered the tickets.
