Washing machine stuck on end

I've unplugged it, had a cup of tea, plugged it back in and still stuck.

I've opened the little door on the front and the filter thing is stuck shut, I can't turn it at all and I can't find any pliers.

Any ideas on what I can do 🙏

There are a few tips here, including using string! There might be a little door release catch next to the filter.

Look up your model online, there will be a manual/forum tips

if the door won’t open, there will be water inside

there us likely to be a second filter somewhere (at the back). On one occasion I had to tilt my machine to get the water out … I put down (lots) of towels and collected the water on a baking tray. Hope it won’t come to that for you as it’s messy

Small things (hairpin, button, twist tie, a piece of string etc) clogging the filter were the culprit here

Can you drain it?

I hand washed some stuff, wrung it out, hung it, went and checked the machine and it worked 🙄🙄🙄
