Mammogram panic

Had a mammogram Thursday. Got call to voicemail from the hospital day after telling they want to book an appointment with me. No more details on the voicemail and now I'm panicking something is wrong. Can't call them back til Tuesday .. Any experience of this ... seems too soon to even have looked at the X-rays!!

(I'm 52 it was a routine check up not for any concern I had)

I would guess that something went wrong and they need to repeat it? Is this your first one? There are lots of recalls/ repeats on the first one.

@Pixiedust49 do you mean with doing the actual X-ray pics? I have annual mammograms due to family history and this has never happened before.

Yes with the actual pictures. Unreadable for some reason maybe?

Normally, any medical group having to leave a voice mail, will not go into any detail, as it's a private call, meant only for the patient.
If you don't pick up, potentially another person will hear the recording.

If they want to make another appointment with you, chances are good that the 'pictures' weren't good enough for the technician and must be repeated, that's quite common I was told at the clinic.

It's a shame you have to wait till Tuesday, but try to not worry.
