Hi I’m due to visit India soon. I can’t seem to find any information regarding plugs

does anyone have any idea. Is it the same as going to Europe

It's a different type of plug known as a type D plug. You can buy suitable adapters at places like boots, definitely at the airport.
We bought a universal adapter plug that we can use in India, Europe etc. If you buy a universal adapter make sure it includes India plugs as some don't.

Thank you. I like to be organised. But I might just wait for the airport.

They have three round pins. I’ve not seen them at the airport, but you can buy them on Amazon (just search for U.K. ago India plug adapter)

Agree with @GCAcademic, you can't always find what you need for India, even at Heathrow.

@cutecockerpoo12, do let us know where you are holidaying in India, I'd love to live vicariously through your trip as it has been a couple of years since I last visited...love it there.
