TikTok scam

Just seen a TikTok pop up where a woman was scammed after buying 200 washes worth of powder for £1.99 with no P&P, and was then shocked that they added Apple Pay to her phone. Luckily she stopped it before any money was taken, but others haven’t been so lucky. What happened to people knowing that if it looks too good, it probably is? Surely you have to see that it’s a scam and not get sucked in?

Lots of people dont think this way though unfortunately and that's why it continues to happen.

Because they are soooo convincing!!!? I nearly got caught the other day. Phone call from my mobile phone supplier saying I was entitled to a discount for always paying on time. Asked for my email address which I gave the wrong one accidentally. Call ended. Another number rang supposed from my mobile supplier again. Asked them to verify if they were....call ended. Its so easy to get caught out.....if it sounds too good to be true it usually is. I'm normally shit hot on spotting scams but....
