I want to be on my own

My 2 younger children have gone to their dads for the weekend.

But my teens are here . Dd is pretty quite to be fair. But ds is the opposite. I feel really tired and drained I don't want anyone talking at me demanding bashing about, projecting voices etc etc.

I want to listen to silence

I get like that when I’m burnt out. Can you just tell them that and go to your bedroom? You probably need an early night xxx

No I would still hear ds. I just want to chill in my living room and hear nothing. I'm being selfish to be honest

You can ask him to be quiet though. He doesn't have to be noisy.

I know that's normally the logic thing but it's not with him. Its hard to explain.

Get some loop quiet earplugs. I have 2 teenagers and they are great. Block out enough noise so you can sleep but not totally deaf in case of emergencies!
