Question about dyeing my hair

I'm planning on dyeing my hair tomorrow morning but earlier today I've sprayed root cover up on my hair.

So, my question is:
Do I wash the root cover off this evening and dye my hair in the morning or
Dye my hair without washing the cover up off it first? Would the dye still work?

Any advice gratefully received

Personally I don't use root cover up/dry shampoo if I know I'm planning to dye my hair the next day. I did look into it once, and the advice online was that the hair dye might not take so well.

However I've never tried it! So, interested whether anyone has...
