The abuse of school staff

I’ve recently been working in a school ( not. Teacher) and I’m horrified at the way that teachers are treated and spoken to by parents. I’ve seen 4 or 5 examples of extreme abuse from parents - totally unjustified. I’m also shocked at what they’re expected to do- they appear up be almost social workers!! No wonder we have a teacher shortage!!

Any job involving the general public is like this and getting worse people are very demanding and entitled

There’s a thread running in AIBU which is another full on teacher bashing by the OP. A lot of misinformation being posted as well as the usual entitled nonsense.

It’s sadly not surprising, but shocking and unacceptable yes.

Teachers, for some, are fair game for insult and abuse.
