Gullible confessions

I am such a marketer (is this even a word?!) dream come true I literally tracked down a shop and made a purchase based on the carrier bag being beautiful when I saw somebody with one!!

Oh this magic product will do x y z - here is my money!

Anybody else with any gullible confessions?

What's gullible about that if you liked it and found they sold things you liked? I don't want to piss on your chips but I'm not sure you know what gullible means.

In what shape or form is that being gullible?

You saw a carrier bag that looked attractive, went to the store and liked what they sold and made a purchase.

Why does that warrant a 'confession' and why are you calling it a 'gullible' confession?

Bizarre.

I didn't even like the product I brought I just wanted the carrier bag so the pretty marketing worked - I would call it gullible maybe that's the wrong word.
English is not my first language so please enlighten me if that's the wrong word.
