Contraception. Please no judgment for asking here I want real opinions and I don’t really have friends but basically

i I have 2 dc (2.5 and 6mo) and I’ve fell pregnant twice by ‘ suprise ‘ (don’t like the word accident)

I’d like a contraceptive that’s effective and doesn’t fully alter me, I changed combined pills as I was so nauseous all the time

I may want another child in the future but it wouldn’t be for a while so I’d like recommendations please? I asked the nurse at my GP’s appointment and she just gave a general overview of them all really but I explained the issue I had with the pills and she just said I could have issues with anything

ive only ever been in this relationship with my DH and have only been on 2 diff types of combined pill

Non hormonal coil, condoms or cap.

Condoms. You’re fertile a couple of days a month. He’s fertile every day. No reason you should be responsible for contraception.

We used them for years until DH had a vasectomy.

We have tried condoms (not on a long term basis, the odd few times) but it tends to kill the mood and then we end up not having sex
