Day in Paris

DH and I are going to have a day in Paris in December and would love some tips to something a bit different. We've been to Paris a lot and love it but we're doing a real whistle-stop trip and would love your tips.

I've done lots of the big attractions and galleries but would love recommendations of somewhere I haven't thought of. I really wanted to go to the Louis Vuitton Foundation but it's closed on the day we're there.

Any ideas would be amazing.

Can you be a bit more specific about what you’ve done?
Some of my favourite places are

  • Photography Museum
  • Rodin Museum
  • Musée Jacquemart-André
Temporary exhibit somewhere? Grand Palais for example book a cracking lunch - I love Fish La Boissonerie

Thank you these look great.

I’ve done the Rodin (but years ago that’s a good shout) Picasso museum, Pompidou, Louvre, Musee D’Orsay, Catacombs, Eiffel Tower, cemeteries, Sacre Couer.

i am happy just to go for a wander, eat and do some Christmas shopping but be great to do something new too.

I liked the Curie museum but that's something I'm professionally interested in.

I also remember there was a nice park nearby with a Statue of Liberty.

Walking food tour round the streets. Might sound touristy but it's not, we had a fabulous 3 hours and ended up in a wine cellar eating fresh bread, cheeses and meats we bought along the way, drinking fabulous wine 😁
