Did anyone ever do allergy testing?

During the pandemic I discovered a rash on my chest and neck. I don't have a picture of it.

I've had this rash in some form or another since 2020. It goes up and down in various levels of intensity. I think it used to be itchy on the chest but it hasn't been itchy for a long time now.

It doesnt cause me any problems. It's not sore and I am going through a good spell where it's now very faint.

I meant to go to my GP about it for years but I never got a chance to.

I don't know what the rash is from. I do experience gut issues/diverticulitis sometimes and I strongly suspect it's related to my gut health but I could be wrong about that. It could also be allergy.

I think I would like to explore this now in case it's allergies and I get a worse reaction at some point.

I did some vague stuff at home cutting stuff out and adding things in but I wasn't consistent and I wasn't fully observant.

At one point I thought maybe this is perfume related but I just don't know.

I can't remember what happened during the pandemic for this rash to develop. I did have undiagnosed belly cramps and I do suspect my rash is gut related but I don't know.

When I do have this rash is has different colours of red. It can start at my neck under my chin and spread down into my chest to the top of my breasts. I can't see my back but I don't feel anything. It's only ever on my front.

Does anyone else have a similar kind of rash?

The York test I believe is the most regarded allergy test

I’ve had blood work and biopsies for celiac.

5 day patch testing for dozens of substances

and I’m scheduled for a round of prick testing this winter because my airway reactions are getting more frequent

the patch testing was critical. I was covered in a head to toe oozing rash that made me fantasize about flaying off my own skin. No amount of hypoallergenic products was cutting it because I had used those my whole life. Figuring out the exact things to eliminate changed by life. I still have reactions because I can’t avoid things completely if I leave my house, but it’s much better.
