Notice for cancelling swimming lessons

My kids have been doing 2 years of 1-1 lessons at huge expense.

I've decided to stop as they're both confident swimmers. Pool have asked for 8 lessons notice.

There's no contract, can I say no thank you? I'm usually a sucker and just say ok to things but this will be ££££££

What’s in the Ts and Cs? Often it’s a term’s notice.

I can't see I had any contract or T and Cs when they joined two years ago.
