Do you ever 'just know' something?

I knew that when I saw now DH online (dating) that he was going to be someone very important to me. I didn't know that we'd get married or live together, but it was like I was struck by lightning when I saw him. I just knew instantly that he was going to be part of my life. And I knew when I saw our house on Rightmove that we'd buy it and live there. We saw it the next day and made an offer and had it accepted all in one day. Has anyone else ever 'known' anything like this? I'm not a woo or superstitious person at all but I just 'knew' these things deep down. Anyone else?Smile

I remember meeting a friend's new boyfriend, she'd been raving on about how great he was and the minute I met him I had a VERY strong feeling that he was a wrong un. He'd not even opened his mouth to speak.

He was in best behavior mode in the early days but lo and behold 6 months later I find out he's an abusive nutter.

Eventually she got out of the relationship but not before he'd tried to strangle her and other bad things. She went back a few times before she left for good.

Yes. When I first met DH it was like I recognised him. Odd because I was actually still broken hearted over my ex, but when DH came up to me in a club I clearly remember thinking 'Oh, I've been waiting for you.'

We've been together for nearly 33 years now. Still very much in love.

I have had numerous occasions when I knew things.

Can't think of any when I thought I knew something, but didn't.
Loads of occasions when I didn't know something big was going to happen.

My late DF used to be able to look at people and know if they were going to die soon.

Of course, there's been things I was absolutely sure about and they came true - and then there's things I was absolutely sure about that didn't come true.
