Is there anything more frustrating?

Than painting a room with two coats of quality paint, going in and out of there for two weeks admiring your handiwork, having lovely carpet fitted and putting in all the new furniture....to then notice the paintwork is patchy and needs another bloody coat?!

Did you clean the walls with sugar soap before you started painting? Is it Farrow and Ball? I think they recommend a base coat. I use Tikkurila and have always been very happy with it.

No I didn't, tbh didn't think I'd need to as I was painting over existing Matt paint. I used dulux trade and it went on beautifully - I can't believe I've only just noticed it's patchy. Can't decide whether to get a paint pad and go over it or just put lots of pictures up for eyes to focus on 😂

I'd go over it again. I know it's a pain.
