Colds and large tonsils

DS9 has large tonsils. He’s not had tonsillitis but the second he catches a cold, his throat really hurts and he gets really congested.

I give him Difflam spray, Ibruprofen, lots of fluids, lollies and icecream. He eats tons of fruit and veg.

Can I do anything else?

Does he get his flu spray every year?

I've had the same my whole life. If you can get him to gargle with salt water a few times a day that helps bring the swelling down. Otherwise honey can soothe them. It's rubbish but at least all my colds seem to stop at my throat rather than end up in my chest 🤷🏽‍♀️ hope he feels better soon x

Yes flu spray every year. I’ve just signed him up for this year.
