£150 John Lewis vouchers (big novelty!) what should I’d buy..

It’s just been my birthday and I was so lucky to receive £150 of JL vouchers.

This is such a treat for me as genuinely all I have goes on the DC.

I would like nice thing/s that I wouldn’t necessarily buy myself but I don’t want to be frivolous and have nothing to show for it.

Things I don’t need, candles (my other great love and so stocked up after by birthday) a velvetiser (I won one last Christmas) wellies/boots/gloves etc (we live rurally so already kitted out)…

But other than that I’d love to know what you would spend £150 on in John Lewis.

First,of all, don't forget you can spend them in Waitrose if Champagne would make you happy

Otherwise

New dressing gown/luxe slippers/pyjamas
Lovely bath/shower stuff - maybe to match your favourite perfume
A jigsaw puzzle
A Neom electronic diffuser and oils
Cashmere sweater
New yoga gear
A paperback book or three from Waitrose and a box of chocolates to go with them

Cashmere hat, gloves and scarf

Lego and chocolates.

Handbag
Watch
Perfume
Skin/hair care

Towards a coffee machine

What would you not usually treat yourself too?

Defiantlynot41 · 17/09/2024 19:46

Oh, and don't forget they sell jewellery. Decent brands online and if you go in store they have preloved whip is very good value

Well I'm a big Christmas fan and ADORE the John Lewis Christmas ranges so would save it until the Christmas shop is properly up and running in store and re-kit out my tree 😂

If that's not tempting enough:

Trip to Waitrose just to buy the fancy, treat yourself foods?

Stationery? They carry some lovely brands!

Kitchenware - I could easily spend £150 on a few nice pieces of cookware, or replace your tableware!

Luggage? Or a new handbag!

On the back of this post, I will 100% be requesting only JL vouchers for my birthday 😂

New sheets and fancy cushions for your bed? You'd get to enjoy them every day.

PardontheFrench · 17/09/2024 20:21

Thanks everyone, I have a Neom defuser but might look at a new seasonal oil for it…

I looked at bedding but it’s eye watering expensive and that would be my budget gone, but I do really love the idea of a new PJ’s/dressing gown a good face oil/cleanser, duvet, bubble bath etc to make it as much as a lovely experience than just new stuff.

If you’re buying anything in the ‘home’ category don’t forget to take in old clothing (5 items) for extra money off. If you have the JL rewards card also check your app/account for any discounts/offers.

If you like coffee money towards a machine is a must, otherwise the bedding, cushions and range of glassware/tabletop is lovely.
