Fundal measurements

Hi all. I’ve been measuring a bit ahead with fundal measurements since 28 weeks. At 31 weeks I was measuring at 33- today we’ve had our 33 week appointment where bubs was still measuring at 33, so back on track which is good but we are now being referred for a “static growth” scan. Midwife said not to worry as it’s likely he had a growth spurt and has now evened out but just wondered if anyone else has experienced this? TIA x

Honestly I wish they wouldn’t bother with these measurements as they are just a bit meaningless! When I was pregnant with my daughter mine were all over, consistently 2-3 weeks ahead for a few appointments, then static so I was referred, then they dropped for 2 appointments so I was referred, then went massively up so I was referred! I had growth scans which all showed baby was supposedly measuring huge, measured over 9lb at 36/37 weeks, was told to consider a C Section, prepare for a big baby, she was born just under 8lb the day before her due date! Honestly don’t worry about it, lots of places have done away with the fundal measurements because they are so inaccurate! Good luck x

Thank you for replying 🙏 it’s such a minefield isn’t it! Will just wait for our scan and assume until then that all is on track 🙏❤️
