Lifting weights and doing body weight exercise eg Pilates seems to be the health obsession right now along with protein

Yes, I used to just do group cardio classes but switched to Weight training 4 years ago and really miss the classes, I am trying to find the right mix now. My DH is really into body building so I get lots of encouragement there.

Yes. I'm a natural couch potato and not a gymgoer but i don't mind a bit of a dumbbells workout or even bodyweight. I'm very slowly (over years!) buying heavier weights. I do mix it up with cardio but not that often tbh.

yup. I do cardio on my rebounder 5 times a week, weight training 3 times and pilates 2 times a week.
Im over 50 and perimenopausal so I feel like it would be daft not to!
