Bosch Mixed Load Washing Machine

Advice needed on the Mixed Load setting on a Bosch 6 or similar washing machine. My 20 year old Bosch recently went kaput so purchased an upgrade (now not so sure if this was a good move).

I have been using the Mixed Load setting and my clothes (lightly worn) are not coming out clean. The drum is less than half full. I use my normal powder detergent.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Can you use the anti stain function on mixed load ? Also what temperature are you washing at ?

That setting was on 30 degrees and I can only get a top spin speed of 800. Doesn’t allow me to choose the anti stain option.

I use the mixed load on my Bosch all the time. The default setting is 30/800 but I cycle through the touchpads for 40/1200. Does it definitely say those settings are the max?

I use 30degree dark wash and cycle the spins through to get 1200. Use a colour catcher sheet in a bra bag so it doesn't snag in the machine and just shove all the washing in mixed. I only
use an old vanish pink scoop full of formil (Lidl Ariel) and a smaller scoop of soda crystals.

The mixed load option sounds a bit different to mine but generally it's a short wash cycle so never will get stuff as clean. If it's that visibly dirty that you can see the difference you at least need to be using a cottons wash with the quick wash option and wash at 40, not 30.

@aiskabash have you tried cycling twice? It goes back to zero and then should go up to 1200 or 1400.

I cycled through at the 40 degree setting but only 800 max. Odd.

There was only a small light faint pale mark on a pair of soft trousers so not sure. I think I will give the Mixed Load setting a miss and head over to a stronger wash setting.
