Baby movements - how much is too much?

First baby so I don’t know what’s normal and what isn’t!

I’m 26 weeks and usually feel movements every couple of hours, but I’ve been feeling vibrating movements all over my abdomen almost constantly for the last 3 hours or so. They don’t feel like jerky, distressed movements, more like they’re rolling and tumbling around in there.

Just wondering if this is normal please Smile

Yup! all normal. As your baby grows and there's less space, you'll start to feel every moment 😁 it's all good 😌

I actually panicked and went for a scan/check out of hours when this happened to me. I was much further on in the pregnancy but the movements were constant and insane! Everything was fine and they put it down to me having had a very sweet homemade honey and lemon drink which kicked it all off! (I had a cold and wanted some relief, probably had a quarter of a mug of honey! )
However it will always be best to put your mind at rest with a professional so maybe call Medicom and just speak to a midwife for your own peace of mind xx

My eldest was like that. She would literally go mad as though she was wriggling constantly. I was told not to worry. Sometimes it made me laugh thinking what's this baby going to be like. As a teenager she takes herself off for long walks and enjoys being busy! My second was like a sloth and I was always in getting his movements checked. Always good to check and midwives are happy to help.
