My second born is nearly 1 and he has never bonded with his dad at all. He cries whenever his dad holds him and is trying his best to get back to me. He screams and screams if dad tries to do bedtime but the minute I come in and hold him he stops.
he doesn’t even acknowledge his dad when he comes home from work. Our first son was obsessed with dad he still is but our youngest just won’t have anything to do with him.
this has been going on for the whole year! This isn’t a new thing! Obviously I’m on maternity leave so I am his primary carer! Dad works 5 days a week and is out the house for 10 hours. Gets home 15 mins before bath/bedtime!
what can we do? I said he should start putting him to bed but baby is screaming and hysterical and it’s upsetting to hear so I just go in and do it.
