Free online courses for 17 year old dropped out of college for anxiety?

Online only courses. They can’t leave the house. Their social anxiety has rocketed and they’ve had to defer their second year of college.

Meanwhile we need to enrol them on online courses to enable them registered as ‘in education’ until they’re 18

But I’m having trouble finding free online courses for 17 year olds that are home learning.

Princes Trust was recommended by the college but unless I’m blind I can’t find any there that are gone learning only.

Has anyone been in a similar situation?

My child feels isolated as they cannot even socialise with their friends owing to being unable to leave the house so the courses could be a lifeline for them.

thankyou

I know this is an old post but you could try open learn or Oak National academy

You could get your YP to apply for PIP and you could then apply for carers allowance?

if your in England, the LA should have a NEET team you can contact for advice, or you could try your local SENDIASS.
