Looking to go to Alicante area in October half term for 4 nights with DH and DS11.
We love mooching, looking at pretty buildings, bit of sight seeing, eating lots of lovely food in nice tapas/restaurants. Love finding the back street restaurants where the locals are. Maybe a trip to the beach one day but not essential.
We want somewhere authentic Spanish and not just British tourists. I'm learning Spanish at moment so really want to have to use the language. We loved Seville and Tarragona.
Been looking at Alicante or Cartagena and wondering where would be best? Or is there anywhere else in that area you would recommend. We can hire a car at airport bit don't want a huge drive for 4 days
