8 and 9 to young to go to the shop?

There is a shop on the corner of my road I would be able to see them from my house. . But I would not be able to see them enter the shop. They have never been on their own before. Maybe I should just get of my fat arse and go myself

Ir's goof for children to have a manageable amount of responsibility. My children used to love going shopping for DM at this age and it was 1/4 mile away.

Many children at this age go to and from school on their own.

We have a corner shop just across the road from us and our DC start going at 6, with an adult watching the road bit.

I started by waiting outside while they went in, then to staying at home.

The only problem they ever had was when the milk fridge was broken, so they had put the milk on the top shelf in the wine fridge and they couldn't reach so they needed to ask for help.

I have let them go I watched them walk up. Ds said if he sees a bogy man he's going to run.
. I said what about yoir brother he said he's to slow he's leaving him there . They are waving and doing hearts af they went up the road.

I gave them a little list .I put coke and ds 8 read it as cookie . Really hoping he comes back with coke
