The past 2 weekends I have been very down in the dumps.
I am a single parent and have just changed jobs after 6 years. I was working 28hrs a week term time only and now doing 35 all yr round. This has been my second week.
My first week was brilliant, so was this week but I feel so tired.
I also have a loan pony and am struggling with her and work and kids.
Sorry, I just dont know what is wrong with me but have no one to talk too x

You're probably a bit worn out with the new job

DontBiteTheCat · 14/09/2024 20:20

You sound exhausted OP, it’s a big change!

Can you do something nice tomorrow to cheer yourself up? A nice walk, hot bath etc?

First of all, congratulations for being so strong and brave. I have jobs but change them often and could not even imagine how would I pay bills with 30 or 35 h and still having a normal day to day life .....have faith that you will be making it as you always have and life will happen. One day at a time

Thank you. Sometimes I feel so lonely and have no one to rant or talk to.
I am now juggling work with childcare, whereas before I never had to.
I am not sure if ill have to send my pony back as I have no time.
I get through the week just fine being at work but I struggle at the weekend

I have literally been so strong to change jobs and try and make things better for my family, it would have been so much easier to stay where I was x

You are very strong and you are trying your best. It will pay off...

Can you snuggle on the sofa and watch something until you fall asleep?

If not there are people here to have a rant to 😁
