Watching Frozen. It's an accepted fact I'm sure that their parents were shit. Basically kept both girls captive for years, completely ruined their relationship with each other, taught Elsa to suppress her perfectly normal feelings when this is NOT what the trolls advised and then off they swan for a wedding for two weeks when the girls were still minors. They were both culpable in what happened to Elsa and Anna in adulthood.

But are there any worse ones out there?

Mowgli's parents lost him in the jungle during a tiger attack, that's probably worse.

Split the kids up and didn't tell them they were twins. Had no interest in having a relationship with their other child because they didn't want to see each other.

The parents from The Parent Trap! Split up and take a twin each, never letting their child know they’re a twin or anything about their other parent, simply because they’ve split up?? And then after all that, they meet back up and fall back in to happy families, showing how terrible and selfish they are for letting their daughters not know each other purely because there was nothing romantic in it for them. Imagine picking a twin and letting your ex take the other and be willing to never see them again, simply cause you don’t fancy their dad any more. Terrible parenting.

Cinderella's Dad did cliche manning. Wife died, he found a woman willing to step in and run his life and "care" for his kid so he didn't have to.

Frozen 2 does explain the swanning off for a wedding bit but yes apart from that they make some pretty questionable choices.
