Which flight would you take?

We live near Newcastle and are wanting to visit Dublin
Partner is at work till the Saturday 1pm
We have two options

Saturday night 6.15pm flight
Arrive in Dublin at 7pm ish
So get to hotel for around 8.15pm I think
It's £230 that night and then stay till Monday so around £360 both nights

Or stay at airport hotel Sunday night in Newcastle £100 and get the 8.50am flight and arrive in Dublin for 10am on the Sunday morning.

Fly home on the 1pm flight Monday

Is it worth staying Saturday in Dublin when we arrive late but then have all day Sunday
Or get Sunday morning flight (it could be delayed )

Or scrap all that and just go to Manchester for a night ?
And drive

Honestly I would just get up early Sunday morning and spend the money you save on the airport hotel when you're in Dublin.

But if you're definitely against that go Saturday night, you can still go out for dinner when you get to Dublin

Go somewhere else.

He finishes lunchtime Saturday, comes home, has food and you leave. So out house by 3. Arrived in time to check in, get ready and go out for dinner. Then have the full day Sunday. Get late checkout. Breakfast, sex, shower, checkout. Stop for lunch somewhere on the way. Home and takeout.

I'd go on Sat. I didn't think it's worth going if you don't have one day that's not a travel day where you're faffing about in airports.
