Has anyone had this weird sickness/virus?

Low grade fever, body aches, joint pain, shivering, nausea. No other obvious cold or flu symptoms like cough, blocked/runny nose.
If so how long did it last?
I've been miserable for 2 days. It's the strangest illness I've ever had. At times I feel fine then it hits me again.

Sounds like Covid? Have you checked?

That's interesting. I've also been under a lot of stress recently.

Negative Covid tests so far.

Freshers flu. New school year, people back from holidays with weird bugs etc.

Sounds like a mild flu, but be warned it sometimes takes a while to get over & leave you feeling exhausted for longer than expected.

BTW a good clue is if it comes on suddenly (a couple of hours) it’s more likely to be flu; colds, including Covid tend to come on more gradually.

It definitely came on suddenly. I went from feeling perfectly fine to awful, no build up of symptoms.

I've woken up again with aches, shivering. I know paracetamol or ibuprofen will help but I can't summon the energy to get out of bed.

Day 8 here! Negative tests. 40+ temp, now the heaviest cold I’ve ever had.

Oh no. So maybe cold symptoms are on their way too.

I’m on cold and flu ones now, but literally nothing was touching the temperature I just had to sleep it off.

Yes. Has turned out to be Covid. Thought I could struggle on, but 2nd day in I can't get out of bed. Feel absolutely lousy, hot eyes, muscle aches, headache, razorblade throat, and oh the ruddy sneezing!

On day 4 of Covid here. Sneezing runny nose, very thirsty, peeing lots, runny eyes, no appetite. Lost 2 kg,
