I've just been reading an article about Adam Peaty's ex wishing them all the best on their engagement. There are many many comments about Gordon Ramsey having paid Adam's ex to give a positive statement, that he has bankrolled her. Saying Gordon's PR Team is behind this. Making sure his daughter doesn't get any negative media.

Does anyone actually believe this guff?

I disagree. If she genuinely doesn’t care who he’s with and is just happy it’s someone who will be nice and caring with her child, it sounds like it could easily be genuine. She’s just said something nice. She’s not exactly getting the Pom poms out.

But there’s no drama in ‘ex partner happy for new partner’ is there? Far more exciting to spout off about how it’s all a conspiracy and she’s been paid to say something nice.

Eiri has said in the past that they she chose to forgive (the reasons they split up) and support Adam through his depression and alcoholism and that she chose that for the benefit of their joint child.

sounds like they have a good relationship now so why would she not be happy for them.

When I said guff, I meant the allegations that Gordon was paying her to put a positive spin on it, not that what she was saying was guff.
