worse break up ever!

light hearted, but please share your break up stories, if you feel you can:

i went full physco on my ex after he was caught cheating, not with 1 woman, but with 5!

I dumped all his belongings at the end of the drive, in the pooring rain, along with thousands of pounds worth of his fishing tackle. I advertised all prized Koi karp on free cycle and gave them away, i emptied his Koi karp pond and filled it with all the crap he didn't retrieve from the drive and then buried it under a tonne of top soil and i refused to give him his PS4 back purely and simply because i knew that was one of the one things he really wanted!

In my defence, he did chase me round the house one day with a shotgun and tried to run me over with his car!!

i did feel better afterwards

I know someone who talked her then dh into a vasectomy before she confronted him for something pretty awful and left!

I know this is supposed to be a light-hearted thread, but honestly, most of these are appalling.

I have no problem with the taking of quiche dishes but physical violence, deliberate destruction of property, spiking food and drink, stealing keys and rubbing underpants in loft insulation are not funny. They're serious and/or potentially dangerous offences. The vasectomy one is awful too.

Clearly the men in question behaved appallingly, but - at the risk of sounding like my mother - two wrongs do not make a right.

Get a grip and walk away with dignity!

i do understand what you are saying.... NOW. but at the time, i think you will find most of these replies and experiences came from somewhere dark a long time ago!

looking back, knowing what i know now, would i do it again... nope!

I caught an ex in bed with another woman, unplugged the telly from the bedroom, took it down stairs and uut it through the windscreen of his brand new Audi TT. Got in my car and went home. It was my TV btw.

it doesnt make sense now does it... but at the time it was a perfectly reasonable action

Bloody hell OP! And I thought I was a bitch for taking the quiche dish that I had just bought and he loved!

your quiche dish represents the same as the PS4! it was the one thing he really liked so i took it from him 😂

So he is in jail now though right ?

sadly no.. this was many many years ago, well before claires law, and womens rights were just beginning. this was the time when domestic violence wasn't taken as seriously as it is now. he did have his firearms license taken away so thats a positive.

I agree. Revenge of any sort delays the recovery and doesn’t actually achieve anything meaningful.

I found out exH was having an affair when I was 6 months pregnant. He didn’t know I knew. He was a big drinker and I got some metronidazole from a friend who hadn’t finished her course (the only antibiotic you can’t drink alcohol on) I spiked his food and drink with these and he was squirting from both ends when he got drunk. I also wanted to plant Japanese knotweed in his garden to grow into the foundations of the house he owned and prevent him selling but I couldn’t get my hands on any so that fell through.

You could have caused him serious health issues I'm not sure thats anything to be proud of.
