What do you do with clothes that have been worn once but aren't dirty/can be worn again?

I often don't wash items after a single wear as I'm not an overly sweaty person, so keep things aside to wear again (unless I spill food down it or excessive exercise in it etc)

It feels totally wrong to put it back in the wardrobe (not like it would 'contaminate' other clothes but just feels off to me!) and washing it every time would be a ballache and massively increase how many loads need doing each week.

My system until now has been to fold the item on the chair behind my dressing table, but it always seems to turn into clothing jenga after a few days, as I don't tend to wear an item for a little while after unless I can get away with two totally different occasions.

I'm wondering if there is a better way and genuinely pondering what the rest of the world does! (Also ADHD AF so tendency to over think everything relating to house tidying etc 😅)
