Really good ear plugs for sleeping?

I am going on holiday with a friend in a few weeks. We are sharing a room in a hotel.
My friend has a medical condition that means they need to have quite a noisy bit of medical equipment on at night.

I'm the world's lightest sleeper. We've been away for a night or 2 before and I have really struggled but this is a full week. I'm so looking forward to the trip but just need best recommendations for ear plugs that will cancel out noise but still comfortable enough to sleep in please?

I get them from boots, just foam ones

Loops have kept all sorts of noise at bay for me, including most of the snoring from my husband! I'm a light sleeper too. They took me a couple of weeks to get used to them so order now. I'm a side sleeper and I like that they don't affect this. Best money I ever spent.

The only ones that work for me are the silicone ones

I use mouldable silicone every single night as I use a cpap and can't stand the noise ( even though mine is relatively quiet). I get them from Amazon and they are a turquoise or an orange colour. You can also buy clear ones from home bargains fire about £4 a box of 7 pairs.

Loop quiet

I use loop. I have the quiet for night time and the experience for work.

Loops for me too. So good I bought a second pair!

I bought some Loop ones but can't get on with them - they really hurt my ears after a few hours so I have to remove them.
Tried all of the different size silicone bits. What am I doing wrong? I sleep on my side, maybe they're better for back/front sleepers? Haven't used them in months, gone back to the yellow/pink foam ones.

I'm a really light sleeper and use Loop only when I WANT to hear some noise, aka when I need to hear my son in case he cries at night. Same with foam plugs.

To really block out the sound I always buy the wax earplugs in Boots. Nothing else really blocks out the sound for me.

Wax is better than loops but I'm still hunting for something better!

Flare say 35 decibel reduction versus loop quiet at only 25.

Loop are the only ones I can sleep in as they are comfortable - and for me with narrow ear canals, they are so easy to put in. I wouldn't say they block all noise out, but enough for me to sleep. I am also on the world's lightest sleeper list!

DeWalt ear plugs from Toolstation and one pack last ages. Can be reused. Very mouldable to fit in ear. I use every night.

Bio ears

I had very mild ear pain the morning after wearing them all night for a couple of weeks. It wasn't bad enough that the pain was worse than the benefits. It passed and I don't have anything now.

I have some Anker Bluetooth in-ear sleeping headphones that are really comfy.

Might go for something on the cheaper end of the scale to loop as only really need them for a short time. Maybe give wax ones a bash!

The advantage of wax is you don't need to use a full earplug. I have narrow ear canals and use half an earplug in each ear. Normal earplug are way too big and hurt my ears.
