I loved the contrast in the clothes of the two women in image 1 and have been making up little stories about them. And the bland townscape in image 2 is just the way I remember places looking (and aspiring to look) when I was the age I was then.

Have spent a frustrating half hour trying to work out are the couple in picture 4 who I think they are. People with an aristocratic title they'll be known as for a few more years, and a baby girl at home. Am prepared to be told I'm quite wrong, but they look the right size and shape, and that coat looks very expensive and well kept.

Really annoyed with today - three great results - two total washout. Oh for consistency...

I managed to find the building and people in Image 4 yesterday @DeanElderberry - it was the Melnikov House in Moscow, and the couple were the architect Konstantin Melnikov and his wife Anna Gavrilovna. It's now a museum and has an interesting history:
