What about the mercury? I thought it wasn't recommended?

I used to mix it with cheesy mash, salmon too (not at the same time)

Tinned tuna, particularly the type sold in the UK, is relatively low in mercury and there’s no advice to avoid it here. I think the varieties in the US have higher levels so their advice is different.

I think it’s fine OP, I know I gave some to DD although she wasn’t a particular fan, and still isn’t, so it was never much. Get the spring water but just check as I think they still have salt added some of them so maybe rinse it if you’re concerned.
