Brand new, second time I've worn it and one of our kittens clawed its way up me 😞 Anything I can do or just replace? It cost me £80 😩

Can you turn it inside out and try and pull it through from that side??? Kitten's are notorious for scratching things

Yes do not pull the thread go to a haberdashery and ask for the right tool I've forgotten it's name! It twists the thread back through the the reverse side, from there you can gently work it so it's appearance from the front is better. I used to work in a haberdashery and do this all the time in winter, people would catch lovely jumpers in the zips on their "big coat" etc

Thanks everyone. I'm going to look for a local haberdashery - don't dare touch it myself!

They should sell a singular needle, that's a fine gauge, but instead of an "eye" it has a twist so it catches the thread and pulls in to the back iyswim? Fingers crossed

This is driving me mad, I looked online and can't find the needle we used to use, but a super fine crochet hook could work or lots of YouTube videos etc for other ways of fixing it

Found one ( mainly for my own sanity!)

I fix these with a tapestry needle. They have a blunt tip and a big eye. If the pull is too short to get the thread through the eye without pulling it further, poke the unthreaded needle in where you need it to go, make a big loop of normal thread through the eye of the needle, put the pulled thread through that and pull it through the eye. Then pull the thread through.

I just poke these through with scissor tips and pull gently from the other side.

Thanks everyone - I'll take a deep breath and give it a go!
