Loop Earplugs

Has anyone tried them? Did you have Quiet, Engage or Experience and did they work well for you?

I have the Quiet ones, after trying loads of different types of cheaper ear plugs. I think they’re pretty good. They’re comfortable to sleep in and stay in all night. I can still hear my husband snoring through them, but at a volume that doesn’t wake me up anymore.
They’ve saved our marriage - we’d resorted to separate rooms for the last few years. I can get a full night’s sleep again now.

I work permanent night shifts so have tired various. Didn't think much of Loop Quiet, as can still hear pretty much everything. I've gone back to my huge pot of industrial ear plugs bought from Screw Fix - they're ace! I wanted to like Loop though as the smallest bud was comfortable to wear, shame really.

I'm wearing my Quiet ones at the moment! I've been using earplugs for decades and I'm very glad I finally tried these. They're by far the most comfortable and effective I've had. The loops make them easy to insert, adjust and remove, better than the Alpine Deep Sleep silicone ones I was wearing most recently - their little tabs broke off after a couple of months, which meant digging in the ear to remove them. I get less itching with the Loops, and they're way more comfortable than foam plugs (they came with three sizes of cap, and I use the middle size). They don't block every last sound - I just heard a "ping" alarm on my phone - and they do make listening to shows a little difficult, but they do what I need, which is blocking out the traffic and neighbours' noises. Bass sounds are my bête noir. And no I didn't get paid for this review, sadly! 😄

DD has the Engage, she has ASD and really hates certain noises like tube or being in a busy environment.

She loves them, still able to hear but the sounds are lower and not causing sensory overload.

For snoring - DH and I snore and he uses QuiteOn ones when we share a bed on holiday. The only other solution is separate bedrooms, it works for over 10 years now.

They're okay. I use the engage in the office (large, busy, open plan) when I need to take the edge of to concentrate but still hear.

I like the loop design, they do reduce noise. I don't find them particularly comfortable but I haven't tried other brands to compare

I have the Experience ones for gigs but they make me feel disassociated and panicky, so I don't use them. If you get in touch and say you want to return them Loop refunds you and lets you keep them, so worth getting them to see if they work for you risk free.

I have Engage and find them really good for having a conversation in a noisy place - drowns the background noise out well.

I just have to make sure they aren't in too tight or you hear your own voice in your head too much. Get in right and they are great!

I bought the Quiet ones but they hurt a lot and fall out unless I jam them painfully into my ear. That's using the smallest size. I guess I must have quite small ears!

Even when they are jammed in, I don't find them to be especially effective.
I prefer the old fashioned wax earplugs that can mould to fit your ear shape.

I sent my engage 2 plus back because they did absolutely nothing. I could hear everything as clearly as before including all the annoying noises I was trying to drown out. Loop gave me my money back. They are an over Facebook saying they are the best thing ever and I'd have had more luck sticking my fingers in my ears.

I have Engage - they are wonderful! I mainly use them in loud bars or restaurants, filters out other overly noisy diners/background music and allows me to focus more on the people I am there with. Obviously they can’t filter out everything but they do get rid of the horrible harsh sounds, which is a win for me.

I bought some for the Taylor Swift concert for my daughter, but we didn't even open the box, it's still sealed, so if anyone is looking for a pair, DM me because I haven't got around to ebaying them and am past the Amazon return date

I bought the engage version but I prefer Flare calmer as they don't muffle everything and I can wear them comfortably for longer (they smooth sounds out but don't block them). However I used the Loop engage ones recently when I needed a break from the neighbours and they worked perfectly.

Yes, I use the Quiet ones for sleep and find them great. They don't cut out all sound but I find that I don't wake up as often once I'm asleep when I have them in, incidental sounds like a car engine starting outside etc no longer wake me up.

You do have to try the different sizes out (it comes with three from memory) and make sure you put them in properly so nothing is sticking out of your ears if you sleep on your side. I use the smallest size and sort of twist them in to make sure the loop bit is tucked in my ear and not sticking out at all.

I got them for £17 on a Prime day deal from Amazon so I'm really pleased with them. They are way better than the foam ones I was previously using.

I use the flare sleeep ones with small ear foams and they work for me. I was tempted by the loop ones but I suppose if the flare ones work why change them?

The Flare pro ones say 35dcb reduction, loop quiet says only 25.

I can't find anything out there that is more ear defender quality for sleeping 😭

Would you say any of these would do the trick for filtering out the top level noise of my kids??

When they get really loud and shrieky it echoes in my head and it drives me potty!

Feel like I am constantly asking them to use indoor voices and not shout so loudly to me. I find it so hard especially when all three start at the same time!

Feel like I should point out they are 4,6 and 9 so not babies or toddlers, I don't want to block them out, just take the volume down a level as it really affects my responses with them because I just can't think straight with all the noise.

I bought the Engage ones for DD15 who is autistic and struggling with the school bus home. She's wearing them for the 1st time today so I'll report back!

I'd recommend the Engage ones for this. If you don't like them you can send them back

DH uses these ones when we are on holiday and sharing a room. At home we have separate bedrooms

I have the ones with all three settings. I find them fiddly and even on the highest blocking I can still hear most things.

I also find them really really uncomfortable even with the smallest ear buds.

My daughter and I have the experience and the quiet ones. They take some getting used to as hurts a bit. I can’t comment too much on whether they actually work as I’m actually a bit deaf so when I wear the experience I can’t hear anything much but my daughter says they don’t block all the noise but helps somewhat. I do seem to prefer my vanderfield ear defenders though.

Asking for a review before writing that no they won't help or send a replacement or are interested in helping people with genuine needs they say the product helps
So no there not a good company and no I wouldn't recommend them
They have no way of finding the product and are only interested in taking people's money another selfish company I wouldn't recommend anyone buying this product

I've got Engage, I love them. I can wear them for hours without any discomfort.
