If you know about tap water....

I've been watching a YouTube person who does walks in the Lakes. Enjoyed his content so far but his last few vide have included stuff which has made me raise my eyebrows a bit.

The main one is him insisting that bottled water has more "electrolytes" than tap water. It's not true, is it? Tap water still has minerals in it, doesn't it?(quite a lot in my area, judging by the state of my kettle!)

More than likely true.

Bottled water is essentially water that has been taken straight from the ground. This is going to have a high concentration of minerals. It will also have a higher bacteria count!

Tap water is taken from rain/reservoirs, and there will be a strict filtering process, which will, of course, remove electrolytes.
