Earthing/Grounding Mat

I m interested in getting an earthing mat to try. Preferably a reasonable size one yet portable so I can use it in bed or sofa etc.. Has anyone used one? Is it worth? Which brand to go for?

Just googled what one is and it sounds very scammy to me.

Save your money.

I'm looking at it too op. It's viral marketing. But am also intrigued! 🤣

Go outside and touch grass 😁

I've also been looking at these. I have a paved yard so I can't touch grass!

The science is dodgy. If you become positively charged and need to earth yourself (to get more electrons) you can just touch a radiator or a water pipe. These conduct electricity so well and have a large enough surface area of metal that they effectively earth you.

I think also that wool is the fabric that donates the most electrons when rubbed, so you could just rub yourself with a wooly jumper!

So if you want to ground yourself while you sleep my advice would be to get some garden wire (uncovered, no plastic) and wrap that round your big toe and attach the other end to a radiator while you sleep. You could also sit and rub your bare skin with something wooden while watching telly!

Woollen not wooden

Forgot about this already. Thanks for your comments.
