Start of conjunctivitis? Stye??

I noticed a bit of pain on my eye lif this morning

Noticed a small red mark, slightly swollen . Thought it was maybe the start if a stye (never had one before)

This evening I feel like my eye ball is 'aching ' I also noticed a bit of puss, but nothing to what I'd consider to be conjunctivitis (had this a few times) so I just wiped away with a tissue

Can and if these cause eye ball pain?

Looks like a stye. I have several of these a year and found bathing it in tepid water helps. You can get some chloramphenicol to put in it if it's sore. Try not to rub it as germs from hands fonin it making it worse. If it is sticky in the morning bathe with water don't try and remove the sleep yourself

Wash hands after each time touching eye and bedding too. My dad always said a cold tea bag was good for pain. Works.well vert soothing.
