It’s not even close

Fluffyowl00 · 08/09/2024 18:16

Nope. You might as well just burn your money. Get a cheap iron and ironing board. They’ll be the only one to have one so will instantly have friends who want to borrow it.

They are not as good as an iron but they are much easier and faster for getting out light creasing so if it's that or don't bother then yes.

Do your DCs iron at home though? Mine don't except for interviews, prom etc and it would never have occurred to me to buy one for uni.

Thistooshallpass24 · 08/09/2024 18:47

Nope they all dribble or spit regardless of how much you paid

Thanks all

And what about those ‘Crease Be Gone’ sprays? Guessing they don’t work either…

thinkfast · 08/09/2024 19:56

They aren't as good as an iron, but they are easier and quicker.

I've got a travel one, it doesn't dribble or spit, but is only ok for light creasing.

I have one, it's brilliant. Easy to do last minute shirt creases or unscrumpling trousers. Couldn't do a load with it, it's an add on to avoid getting the board out for one item. Also got a table top ironing board which is great.
