I've had some traumatic chest surgeries in the past 4 years,
The most recent last year.
I'll add pictures to show severity.
They are really making me self conscious as I do feel people do stare at me and I once had a taxi driver ask me what had happened to me 😳

Can anyone recommend any decent scar creams?

Kelocote and silicone scar reduction patches are brilliant. If they stay dark, ask your gp if they can do a steroid injection- that helped take all the colour out of my really nasty scar after Kelocote had flattened and softened it along with the patches

I have something similar so thank you OP for asking. @CMOTDibbler are there any specific brand you'd recommend?

Superdrug sell unbranded silicone scar gel. It's all the same. The important thing is that you use it properly and consistently.

Dermatix or Kelocote gel might be better than the patches, given that your scars are a few years old.
