Bovingdon film studios tips

We have tickets to be in the studio audience in a few weeks. There doesn't seem to be much information.

Does anyone have any tips (what do I need to bring? Any useful advice? Best local area to stay - we will be travelling for it)

Thanks

A little bump - I know it may be that no one who has been sees this.

I've never been to the studios but live nearby. Best place to stay that's fairly close would probably be the Premier Inn on the A41 just outside Hemel Hempstead.

Thank you :)

I’ve not been in the audience at Bovingdon specifically but work in TV.

Generally with TV audiences they over subscribe so you should get there early to ensure you get in (especially as you are travelling), there may be wristbands or a raffle ticket system so they can log when you arrived.

I would aim not to bring much with you at all as you might not be allowed bags into the studio and it’s a pain collecting them after if you have to leave them somewhere.

Have a good time!

@Chelsea26 - I assume I don't need to bring anything specific if they've not asked? No ID or anything?

We don’t require ID but saying that if you have a driving license it’s not hard to shove it in a pocket just in case…

Edited

Just realised I assumed you're driving - if you're travelling by train the Premier Inn in Hemel town centre is walking distance from the station. And I think one of the buses that stops at the station stops outside the studios (although they've changed some of the routes in the last couple of weeks, so don't quote me on that !)

Thank you so much both (don't know why I didn't think of driving licence - but yes I'll take that)
