Family friendly hotels in the south west

Hi

I'm looking to make a list of family friendly hotels in the south west / south wales which are not much more than an hour drive from where we live, for weekends away. We live near the severn bridge so it would be within that radius. An example would be the Woolley Grange hotel.

Thank you in advance :)

Sorry, should have added that my 2 children are under 4 :)

Depends how expensive you want to go, but Moonfleet Manor in Dorset would fit the bill.

Wow that is stunning @mindutopia! A little more expensive that I would be looking at and quite far away, but definitely one to keep in mind for special occasions!

We stayed here many times when the children were young in the bed and breakfast part . The family room has a separate room off the main bedroom for 2 children. There are barbecue s in the garden to make an evening meal . The garden is full of play equipment.
It’s on the outskirts of Barnstaple
