Caroline Girvan...how long?

I'm 42 and determined to finally get in shape. Bought myself 2 sets of 2.5 kg and feel really motivated to exercise. I've heard great things about Caroline Girvan and how her workouts have changed people's shapes.

I would like to know how long before you noticed a difference? With diet, the difference is almost immediate once I start reducing calories but I know that exercise is different. I need to change my mindset and know that it won't be for a while...but how long did it take for you to notice a difference in your shape (that wasn't just diet)?

I have been going for 8 weeks with iron first and then fuel. I have noticed more abs definition and my legs are definitely more toned. With diet changes I have also lost quite a lot of weight. Caroline Girvan is life changing

I did Iron now doing Fuel. I follow it as recommended with 2 active rest days a week. I do this in the morning and walk for 40 mins in the evening. On my rest days I walk twice

I always think starting is the hardest. Once you are doing it and seeing benefits, it's easier to carry on. Good luck! If you are on Facebook there are loads of sites dedicated to Caroline Girvan - both for individual programmes but also for general motivation and tip sharing. I am a member of these and people often share progress pics which is really motivating too 😊

I just did Iron Day 1. I stopped 10 minutes before the end! I'm going from almost 0 fitness but not sure if I should have carried on...my legs were shaking and I felt sick. I thought if I do the next 10 minutes, I'll not do it again tomorrow. Tomorrow ill aim for a bit longer!

Well done op. You showed up, you started and you did your best. It gets easier and actually Iron day 1 is one of the hardest
