Not Christmas dinner etc.

have been stressed and really mopey - lots of rubbish going on and then grim weather on top.

i have eaten 1.5 cheese toasters, a crisp sandwich with butter and now four slices of veggie Domino’s.

so many carbs, so much cheese, am going to be so bloated tomorrow but felt needed!

calories wise, will be so many. Make me feeel better with similar days please!

Waiting for the competitive under-eaters to come along now🍿

Oh wasn’t my intention. Just feeling very Carby - not surprising as have have bread for each meal!

I honestly wouldn’t bat an eyelid if I’d eaten this much in a day.

Not the most nutritionally balanced meal, but hardly some great splurge.

In my younger years I could have happily put away a large dominos stuffed crust pizza with dipping sauce and tbh would have thought nothing of it.

God I'd call that a good day. I've been at work today and it's the totm so I've eaten, weetabix 2 cuppas, 2 club biscuits ( orange and mint) 2 fi ger kit kat, 2 hobnobs, potnoodle, crisps half a frozen pizza woth pepperoni and veg, some Scottish tablet...it's now 725 pm and I'm wondering whether to have some toast before bed. Bloody hate periods. I'm constantly hungry

Onafitnesskick · 06/09/2024 19:38

I should have added am on my period too! So can relate.

really wasn’t trying to provoke anything, this is genuinely a lot for me and so carb and fat heavy that I already feel just bleugh

That really isn't a lot. Not healthy choices and I'd feel crap too.

At least you've probably hit your calcium requirements today.

Radiatorvalves · 06/09/2024 19:45

It’s the cheese toaster I’m worried about!

SallyWD · 06/09/2024 19:46

It's not healthy but that's not actually a huge amount to eat in one day. Probably 2000 calories or less. I've definitely eaten more than that and not thought it was particularly glutenous.

HangingOnJustAbout · 06/09/2024 19:50

The most I've eaten in a day. I don't really stress over it so I dont know but I regularly had 4000 calories when I was low carbing.

I generally eat healthy meals but then eat crap too when I'm stressed. So something like kefir, nuts and figs for breakfast, cheese salad and slice of cake at lunch, salmon and roasted veg at dinner, then a packet or two of biscuits, random cheese/meat/yogurts from the fridge, a ton of fruit, hot chocolate, few bags of crisps. I just need to eat when I'm stressed.

StBernie · 06/09/2024 19:51

That doesn’t seem excessive to me in terms of quantity. If you’d had the toasties for breakfast, the sandwich for lunch and the pizza slices for dinner, those portion sizes would be normal for me. It’s more the quality/nutritional value that would bother me so I’d feel better if I had some fruit/veg snacks in between.

OnYourTogs · 06/09/2024 20:08

You must eat very little if you think this is really over the top. For a whole day? There's a lack of veg but who cares once in a while?

PoodlesRUs · 06/09/2024 20:36

Breakfast, snack, lunch, four dinners. Couldn't say no to various friendly locals and fellow travellers on holiday.
