Redecorating my flat for the 1st time, need help

Feeling very grown up but I’m on the other side of 45 already 🫣😂😅

I always rented so had to go with LL’s decor

Now that I can decor my own taste, I feel very overwhelmed. I have been saving since 2022 for this so now finally decided to start

I got a quote - would anyone be willing to have a look and tell me if it is reasonable? I have no idea if it is too much and what can I do to bring costs down if anything (except DIY)

Also anything I should be aware of dealing with the company and the contractor? Any specific questions I should ask before works begin?

I’m in London, so prices will be a bit higher I guess

Oh that sounds exciting! I'm not in London so have no idea about costs, but I'd love to know the colours etc you're going for.

Actually very very basic and neutral, the main goal is to remove the awful wallpapers and floors from the person who were here before me
