Cheap-ish but decent holiday in October

Hi

We haven't been abroad in years but have been kindly been gifted some money to go away so was hoping for some ideas.

Would like all inclusive and some sun. There are 5 of us and we have approx £4000. Is that doable? Would also like somewhere decent, I know we won't get luxury but would rather not go at all than spend it on an absolute dive. I have no idea anymore where is good so thanks in advance.

I went to Tunisia a couple of years ago to a lovely All inclusive - had a fab holiday. Although I will say the area around the hotel as a bit lack-lustre.

Can't remember name of the hotel but it was in the port El Kantaou area

Pretty sure you could find something in your budget (if you share a couple of rooms between you)

Beginning or end of October will determine how far you need to go. If right at the start, I would go to Crete. If end, I think I would go to the Canaries.

What about air b&b there are some amazing ones in Greece / Corfu

your best option is to check out deals from your local airport(s) for your travel dates, see what's available and where (as others have said, the later in October you go, the further south you need to go for warmer weather), and then read reviews on things like TripAdvisor very carefully! Jet2 holidays, Easyjet, Tui, Thomas Cook etc. Most booking sites let you do an open destination search.
