Inspiring book for a new 40 year old

My lovely friend is turning 40. She’s a new ish friend and I’d like to get her an inspiring and uplifting book to take her into her next decade. She’s had a tough life to now and I want something that inspires her, helps her build hope and confidence in herself but that’s also light ish and not too self- help. Any recommendations? I’ve looked at the following but not read any of them;

The book of Joy
Untamed
The power of Now
Brene Brown (though I’ve not loved her stuff)

extra points for a British, female author.

I think a biography of someone you admire, or a book you find inspiring, or funny might be better? Self help books always feel the opposite to me! Other books are travel books eg trips you can take, or a language learning book with a trip booking might be nice.

Thank you - will have a look at biographies. Nothing is popping out to me!!

I'm not entirely sure if a new 40 year old would welcome an uplifting -hey life isn't over, honestly- book.....

Came on to say Untamed.

@CurlewKate possibly not 😆. Any other ideas? Bearing in mind this is someone I really like but haven’t known long.
