Just seen that the new chief scout is Dwayne Fields.
He did a programme with Ben Fogle when they recreated done Antarctic routes, wearing authentic clothing and kit from the day, and pulled their own sledges. It was tough, very tough.
He came across really well, and seemed a likeable fellow, and had that (proven) spirit of adventure that symbolises Scouting. I think, from what I saw in the programme, that the Scouts are in good hands, and he’ll be a good ambassador for them.
